In a culture where people use their homes as financial investments - gambling on cashing in and trading up every five years; when how many square feet of space can be crammed onto a postage stamp lot; and when an entire neighborhood can be comprised of four different model "homes" situated with no thought as to orientation or context: DOES SOCIETY REALLY PLACE ANY VALUE ON GOOD ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN?
Do we still value architecture?

in my country architecture is the matter for only higher class people and average people avoid architect as there is scope still as the negligency of building authorities. But the higher class who only go through this also care for luxury not for good design. But in some of my government projects where government has pay there the responce to a good design can be easily abale to enhance peoples attraction. this is all i can tell in return of the question u did. so i think i good design always attract human mind if he can afford it or not.
